With his 20 + years of experience as a bassist, Donald has gained notoriety which landed him significant recognition as a professional musician. Not only has Donald published his own albums, Donald has extensive success performing studio session work, live recordings, and tours with musical greats such as The Isley Brothers, Agnez Monica, and Gospel greats like Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Smokie Norful, Donald Lawrence, and Walter Hawkins.

Donald Alford II was honored at 2010 ASCAP's 23rd Annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards, recognizing the song he co wrote with Keyshia Cole "TRUST" on the multi platinum selling albums “A Different Me” as one of the top ASCAP songs of the 2009 year-end charts.

Donald has navigated not only his music career but other business endeavors. Donald's tenacity earned him an opportunity to perform on the biggest platform in the world, Beyonce Knowles Carter's Renaissance World Tour. He also appeared in the AMC special, Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce.

He is grateful to God, the most high; who leads and guides him no matter where he goes. Donald is also grateful to his entire family and support system.
